MacRadio announces The Mac News Hour

DALLAS, Texas--October 21, 2002--Mac Radio announced today the launch of The Mac News Hour to be heard every Thursday for 60 minutes starting at 9pm Eastern, 6pm Pacific on October 24, 2002.

Billed as a Mac News magazine show, the show will be much like major network shows such as 20/20, 60 minutes, and Dateline. Mac News Hour will feature four to five in depth news reports with interviews, product reviews, and issues analysis in pre-recorded segments with possible live commentary by the host, Jake Walker (http://www.jakewalker.com) and listeners.

"MacRadio has needed a news show for some time, and I am happy that Jake has picked up the ball with plans to do a top notch show with interesting guests and informative reports," said Robert Aldridge, owner of MacRadio.com.

The Mac News Hour takes up the earlier time slot where Andy Ihnatko's Weekly Write-Off was found at 9pm Eastern. Andy's show can now be heard directly following The Mac News Hour in his planned slot of 10pm EST.

During the month of October 2002, MacRadio is announcing a full schedule of talk radio content bringing Mac entertainment to users five nights a week. MacRadio's website makes finding and listening to a radio program as easy as loading a page, and listening to archives as easy as a click, or a download to a favorite portable MP3 device. Listeners can plan their listening habits by an easy to view schedule of each night from the MacRadio home page. MacRadio is committed to bringing the best Mac entertainment to its community from the best voices and minds around.
